We Welcome 2nd Opinions From Any Prior Orthodontic Consultations!
- The 2nd opinions are offered not to criticize or belittle any dentist or orthodontic specialist about their opinion (s), but to provide you with education and to possibly expand the numbers of options that may be available to you.
- Do you wonder why different doctors will give you different opinions on the same patient? For example:
- One doctor says, it's the right time to start treatment, another one says to wait.
- One says to extract teeth, another one says, don't extract teeth.
- One says use headgear while another says "I don't use headgear"
- You see, there are many, many different ways to correct crooked teeth and each orthodontist has their own philosophies and thoughts on individual case. The differences are due to the doctor's training, past and present experiences and what their goal are for the end of treatment.
- There is nothing wrong with getting a 2nd opinion. It can only help you understand orthodontics more. And the more you know, the more comfortable you are with treatment.
