Don't Worry, You Won't Be Wearing Any Headgear...!
Headgears do work but the biggest problem is PATIENT COOPERATION. A comical saying in orthodontics is "Yes, I use a headgear but my patients don't!!"
You see, if there are better alternatives that REQUIRE NO PATIENT COOPERATION, why not use them? Why fight with the patients or accept mediocre treatment?
Sure, you can "beat up" on patients to make them wear a headgear, but why? There are alternatives!
